September went by far too quickly; I say that more often as I get older.
Friday was a wash, but boy, Saturday was busy!
Friday: Worked a 12-hour day so Friday evening kind of sucked until I was able to step away from work.
Saturday: Got up, enjoyed a Butter Rum muffin that Shalee grabbed for me from, played pickleball for a couple of hours, went back home to eat some Chinese leftovers, showered, then headed downtown to the library to grab a book waiting for me at the library (The Emperor of Gladness) only to find out that there was a harvest festival going on so parking was a struggle, found an employee spot, darted in, grabbed my book, picked up Makie from work, texted some friends about the Geek Stuff Garage sale at the The Comic Signal, met one of said friends there at 1:30 PM, spent two hours enjoying and purchased said geek stuff, stopped by to visit my mom and her husband for about an hour, and then went back home to help get some laundry done while Shalee was shopping for some clothes for her work trip. Spent the evening folding laundry and all the sports! It was a very busy and productive day.
Sunday: Slept in, went grocery shopping, then helped some more with laundry before enjoying a decisive win by the Lions… …and the Indiana Fever! Played some COD and then read more of The Shattering Peace (50% done!) before going to sleep far too late.
So much geek stuff! All the sports! YAY!
The Daily: loosely grouped thoughts, three sentences or less The Weekend: A version of the The Daily covering the weekend’s events. Duh.
